When someone signs up on my forum they get an email with link to click on.
Then they get a welcome email.
Then they get a welcome PM with email notification.

Occasionally people sign up with an auto responder on their email account so I get all 3 responded to. Not really a problem for me but do find it amusing.

    Anyone else have that happen?

Nope, I haven't had an autoresponder yet. If it really became a problem, I'd have all outgoing e-mails sent from an unmonitored account so that I don't have to deal with it.

Like Nick, it's never happened to me yet. But you could use [email protected] for such e-mails and never check that account.

I like to get the emails from people to the site default address so I can let the people know when they respond to the PM notification email instead of logging in an replying to the PM.

I'll contact them if it continues to be a problem. I thought it was a amusing, though.
