Any way to automatically have edited text labeled?

Just a suggestion, if it can be added as a feature...

If it would be possible to have an edited post reflect the changes that were made, possibly with a different font, or with a different typeface, automatically, it would make things a little easier.

For example, say I go and post a message, then go back in and edit the post to add a PS. to it, for it to appear as:

[edit] Just wanted to add this to the post... [/edit]
Or something to that effect, without the [edit] tags, of course.

Does this sound like something that can be easily implemented?

I would like that some times but other times I'd rather not have what I've edited shown. Sometimes it's my stupid spelling error, sometimes it's just something I forgot to toss in...There are times when I go back a while later and add something that I"d like noticed though. So maybe something down there with disable smilies and things..something that says "show edit"

I agree with Taz. Could you implement that with a radio button that says to italicize edits?
