    What actually caused it, does anyone 100% know? Im not sure if you confirmed what it was on your video when speaking as I dont have my audio on right now. Yet another good video Kevin!

    It was a wild hog. They use pine trees like that as scratching post. Over a period of time, say several months or even years the hogs will rub all of the bark off the tree.
