    It was an unfortunate side effect while moving to a new host. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    E-mail should not be lost during this time.

    It is? Not here...

    It must be a DNS cache thing...

    You go to http://mailbox.aliensoup.com and get the login page for the EMAIL?

    Or is everyone still getting the incorrect page coming up now? (same as you get when you go to aliensoup.com)?

    Now, it's completely DEAD for me right now...

    It comes up as 'unknown' when trying to ping it, and it's also unknown in my browsers.

    I'll keep on their cases. .

    At this very moment I sit looking at the login page. it's beautiful. Now I'd just like to change my e-mail bakc to alien soup but I won't until I know I can get a password...

    Okay, e-mail is now functioning on my end too, probably an ISP cache issue.

    Hopefully everyone's mail should be functioning now?

    Please report any additional problems! .

    i still don't get anything. lucky you i hadn't yet converted all my stuff to that e-mail, or i'd have to get out the alien death ray .

    p.s. did you say that messages would not be lost? i'm expecting something semi-important...

    On my end, http://mailbox.aliensoup.com isn't functioning again.. Can't even ping it.

    Anyone else having problems reaching that URL?

    I've done everything I can on my end on this issue, and the issues regarding our DNS problems overall in the last 10 or so days (on and off).

    At this point it is really out of my hands.. Well, it sort of HAS been.. All settings are correct. I've had everyone check their records and everything looks fine. Old host released everything properly, new host adjusted everything properly, mail company has checked things on their end. We're all confusled.

    .

    I'll keep trying to resolve this issue somehow.

    Sigh... I think we have a damned Gremlin.

    ...as for possible lost mail, I'm not sure.. We shouldn't have, but I can't guarantee it since this has been occuring for a little while. We've had some rather odd issues with the mail company, I sure hope this stablizes or I'll have to change companies.

    Something is just odd in the routing right now, me thinks.

    I've been able to access the mailbox with no problems since sometime in the middle of the night last night...

    Try again later today...

    If it was fixed, it would take a little while to work for you because of DNS caching...
