Sometime in the next... 12 hours we'll say, the forums will be closed for a bit while we update/upgrade our forums software.

Lastly, Alien Soup Forums is among the few sites that have been selected to participate in the new UBB 6.0 beta period beginning Christmas Day. Since this is not yet production-grade stuff, we'll put it up as a second installation and may ask our moderators to rip through it to help locate bugs before 6.0 is officially available sometime in January or February.

One more thing, the rest of the site is still under construction. It's been delayed due to our site/layout designer being swamped as of late. However after the holiday we can resume getting it completed.
