    According to the who.is, the domain www.xenforo.com expired at midnight UK time. (about 3 hrs ago)

    It's still down...
    I thought for sure it would of been renewed by the time I got up this morning.. :(

    Unfortunately, despite having the auto renew option selected, our domain name expired, which led to to the site being inaccessible for some.

    All is back in order, although there may be a delay for some as the DNS updates.

    Apologies to those who have been affected and with a little luck, not everyone will be affected.

    good to see the site is back up for me now, it wasn't a few hours ago
    also if my some stroke of bad luck this happens again, here is a temp fix.

    Wow just Wow. Everyone makes mistakes but when you're entire business rests on a domain name you kind of make sure it's renewed for multiple years at a clip.

    Or at least put in a calendar reminder into your smart phone... everyone has one right ? :)

    True enough, but if you have auto-renew selected, you'd hope it'd actually renew it!

    There's also a grace period of around 30 days depending on registrar to re-instate expired domains. While it doesn't look great it expiring, I've just discovered a few threads over on the namecheap forum with similar auto-renew problems.
