I just came across this site and thought I'd pass it on for those that haven't seen it yet:
    http://www.tommyzor.com/articles/guaranteed-methods-of-starting-a-flame-war/

Here's one of the things that they've included:

So with that being said, do you agree with some of their methods, or do you have your own?

I love Google+ personally. I find it the best designed social network out of the lot. However they are not active down to Twitter and Facebook, bit of a shame really but it happens I guess.

I do agree with these methods. Seen many of them done before. Pretty much anything controversial like religion will start a debate.

Do you think one of the reasons its not bigger than it is now because there's been so many social networking sites introduced in the past few years? News usually breaks faster on Twitter than it does on Facebook. At least, that's what I've noticed.

You can also say you don't support gay marriage, I've done that on @cpvr forum, and it really got his members going at me. I probably shouldn't have said that as I'm now building a game in that niche, but I can always twist words to make them play my game.

I would say so yeah, Twitter and Facebook are the top dogs. Just think Google released Google+ at the wrong time, Bebo got overtaken by Facebook and I think the same would of happened again with Facebook been overtaken by Google+ if the release was better timed.

Flame war is not the same as baiting or trolling.

What are some of your methods for baiting people to respond? ;)
