How long do you think it will be until Internet Brands sells off vBulletin to a company that can take care of it?

Wouldn't it be hilarious if it turns out that Internet Brands had to give vBulletin to KAM as part of the settlement they recently agreed.

That's the only thing that could explain the release of a product like vb5. I mean vb5 would make more sense if IB was about to give vBulletin away to a hated enemy.

I voted will not happen. Reason I think is they will just fumble along until they can't make any more money off it. Then they'll just abandon it in much the same way that UBBThreads has been abandoned. You can still buy a UBBThreads license, but, other than old outdated software you get nothing. Same will happen with vbulletin.

First sign of this is when staff start to disappear one at a time.

I give it two years. Wait for another major update or two for it to completely to be sold.
