Hacking attempts are getting worse and worse against my server. First it started out as 5 attempts and over the last few days its been getting worse. Today there were 1789 hack attempts, I know when I am beat. I am not a Linux wiz and I can't afford to hire one. It's just a matter of time before they get in. So I am tossing in the towel and I moved all my websites to a reseller account. Have you guys experienced anything like this before?

Yes I see the same thing. I run Windows servers so I get twice as many attempts as most. I am confident enough in my ability that I can keep the servers secure.

One of my sites was hacked last year, but, it was not a problem with the server. An admin on one of my sites had his computer compromised and they used his stolen credentials to log in and upload a shell script. It was a pain to clean up after, but, I did.
