When you first started your forum, did you have an "vision" on where it was going to go? Have you reached it? What steps did you take to make it come true?

I know that yearly, some plans change on what you want your overall community to be, but how much has your vision changed over the years/month?

Indeed - I did have an initial vision (or plan, I should say) on how I saw things going in both the short and long-runs. This has held true with all of the communities that I've built and/or developed. Setting goals for your community is crucial, even if they're not reached in the desired time period. It's well worth the wait - building a successful community is not something that happens overnight (well... not often).

I think I've reached my initial "vision" - dedicating time and effort has proven to be absolutely crucial.

It hasn't changed too much, to be honest. Sure - I've tweaked it, but the initial goal remains the same.

No, I have not reached it. I want a forum with over 1 million post. Its at 759,605 right now.

To increase the membership and pos rate, I'am working on improving the portal, and working on improving the quality of my videos.

I wasn't really thinking of profits or stats when it came to most of the sites I've built; most exist to fill certain needs I saw. I do have one concept in mind that will hopefully be my "money" site.

It's slightly exceeded expectations and is time to start ramping those up.
