Anyone know how to change the LAN setting on Windows 8 to home network?

I recently did away with wireless to my main PC when I moved, and have it wired to the router now since it's closer, but windows sets this to a private network.

This makes it impossible to connect to any NAS, and other PC's on the network that are wireless. Any clue how to change this back to a home network?

Open network and sharing and then click the private network. You should bring up a window to allow you to change it.

Tried that, it wouldn't change while on the LAN, no clue why, only happens on windows 8.

But I just plugged in my wireless card, and that let me set it to a home network.
