This is definitely an interesting read; it's a two-part series by Aaron Greenspan about his Google AdSense account being terminated and him not being paid the $721 he earned with that account. He contacted Google multiple times and they would NOT tell him why his account was terminated other than "because you violated the terms" or something. So he sued them in small claims court and won.
He posted his first article on the Huffington Post and attracted national attention, Google being ridiculed. Apparently, this didn't settle with Google so they appealed the mere $721 case, but won this time.

    It's a really interesting series - kind-of long - but intriguing nonetheless.

I read the first article a couple of months ago but did not know that google had appealed.

Well, it seems that the guy finally got the answer he was looking for - why his adsense account was canceled.

    Interesting,

I got an email the other day informing me of a possible law suit involving google Adword. It seems they may have been over charging for clicks or something for the sort.

Yeah, I read the first part a while ago as well, but the appeal was more recent. Subsequent to the first article, he never got his check. After waiting and waiting, he got the notice of appeal.

The whole moral of the story is, look what all he had to go through to get the answer though. Do we really want to be dealing with a company like this? He's not the only one that doesn't get answers from Google. I've never been able to get a live support person to answer ANY question I have ever had. NEVER. No phone number, no human-monitored e-mail address, nothing. If I need help, I can only hope that a fellow customer can help me on the Google help group.

    From the 2nd link:
Google's exhibits made clear what I had wanted to know all along throughout the five months since my lawsuit had been filed: the specific reasons why my account was cancelled. One appeared to be that I had used the forbidden phrase "pick a link" on my web site. The other was that Google AdSense advertisements could not be placed on web pages lacking content.

I stay as far away from google as possible.
