Who would YOU like to interview?

I think it's safe to say that all of us here admire forums and communities. We like to stay in-the-know with the latest happenings in the forum-world. Some people are big-whigs in this industry and they have a huge following and are highly admired. Wayne Luke is a perfect example. He is renowned, and personally, I am honored to have him as an active member here.

But who are some others? Who, in the forum industry, do you want to learn about? Perhaps a developer for a forum solution, or maybe even an administrator of some huge board, for example.

List as many as you wish.

 

I would interview Sean Kennedy from Rant Radio.

 

IB seems to buy a lot of forums, and I cannot figure out 'why' they bought some of those because they are quite small.

It is doubtful that the management at IB wants to be interviewed but you could try.

Otherwise interview an owner/admin from some of those forums they have bought and basically ask "so, how did the transition go?"

Or maybe someone lives in so cal and they could take some pics of IB, or maybe google maps street level.





Or you could always interview brad pitt and Angelina! :p

 

Ah, yes. I hear that Brad is very much into discussion forums (as a secret hobby). :lol:

 

I actually heard Brad was taking Kier's position at vB now that Kier left.

 

How about 'one last interview' with the departing members of vB?

Archived forever as a tribute to that era.

 

I would like to see interviews from the following people:

Kevin Rose, Evan Williams, Biz Stone, Mark Zuckerberg, Chris Hughes, Shawn Hardin, Matt Mullenweg, Tom Anderson, and Tom Westergren

If you do not know who they are then you should Google them. These are the people shaping Social Media as the world knows it. We can have interviews with PHP developers, lamp developers, and forum support all week but that is looking at the small piece of the pie. If we're going to succeed in building community we need to get their insight and knowledge. They all started with an idea that has for better or worse changed how we communicate online and off.
