Up until, I have almost always used Google, because its always seemed to be the easiest, but after the first check, and the second check, I have noticed a drop in income from them, and traffic and CTR has gone up.

My main sites basically a money sink, however one of the ones I plan on opening in January will be in a wider niche, and will bring potentially more income, and I am looking for a new ad server to use, and would appreciate suggestions on ones people have found to be the best.

    Any advice would be helpful.

I've always had good results with AdSense; it's taken me just a bit less than two years to master it (and actually have a website with traffic to place ads on), and I should be getting my second check whenever they next send them out (got my first one in June/July). There are several other alternatives, but I've only ever used AdSense; there are plenty of resources out there to help you optimize it, including for forums: Unofficial AdSense Blog

I've had good results from (in order of most successful):

    1. Google Adsense

    2. eBay affiliate program (as my forum is a niche)

    3. Commssion Junction

    4. Chitika (which can be used along side Adsense)

Anyone else have feedback on Chitika? I was looking into it because I have some sites that I'd like to test some ads other than Google Adsense or Commission Junction shopping ads.

I am using Chitika right now. However, not getting very much for it at all. Well under 20 cents a day!

Premium Ads only works on search results from USA/Canada and that's all I use. I might put the eMalls on my other blog to see what happens but for me, I hardly get anything from Chitika ads.

Has anyone else had any good results? Esp eMall ads?

We use adsense and some private ads, we do some others on there but they don't seem to make us hardly any money so are due to be reviewed soon, the ads we have cover our hosting charges and vbulletin costs comfortably which is the main thing

I've always used Adsense, but I wouldn't mind changing if another ad provider actually paid a bit more. Its hard to complain when a site pays its own bills and the leftovers can be used to improve hosting or just re-invest for the future.

I am using a combination of Google adsense, Chitika and infolinks. I should say Adsense is the best in the combination. You can try infolinks to your website and they pay decent amount.
