vBulletin War... vB3 or vB4

    Okay so here is one just for the vB fans. I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with vB4 but I have had the *cough* "honour" *cough* of giving it a go. Apart from the inbuilt SEO.. There is nothing for it. So much so that the $200AUD I just paid for my new Lic, I downloaded and now use vB 3.8 ;) :D


    What do you prefer?

    vB3 or vB4?

    $200?! Damn I thought IPB was expansive. But I've never used VB4 but from what I used on VB3 it was pretty good.

    I've seen many forums where vBulletin 4 is installed, later taken down, and replaced with 3.8.

    vBulletin 4 is just like phpBB 3. They tried to do something revolutionary by switching to non-table designs and following trends like rounded corners and shadows. It's basically a flop.

    Agreed Ferron. Except with vbulliten it isn't to hard to install mods and skins ;).

    looks like some cheap way of mimicking IPB 3.
