Tryfuhl pointed me towards a great site for managing multiple Twitter accounts, Twitter multi account manager & brand monitor | Splitweet .
It collects all your accounts in one place, and allows you to monitor any mention of your brand.

There are also Twitter directories at
Twitter Directory and Search, Find Twitter Followers : WeFollow
Twellow :: Twitter Directory, Twitter Search, & Twitter Yellow Pages
Just Tweet It ยป THE Directory for Twitter Users
Twitter Directory: Search Twitter & Twitter Directories
    TweetFind.com - Live Twitter Directory
TwitR - The No.1 Twitter Directory
TwitDir - a Twitter directory - Find your friends and more on Twitter!
twtBiz :: a business directory for twitter.

What other Twitter resources exist that could be helpful to forum owners trying to get traffic to their sites? List and describe them here please!

TwitDir is a bit bland, no? I guess it does the trick.

As soon as I get a personal Twitter account up and running, I'll give it a try - I'm assuming that simplicity is key, in their mind(s).

I really like the look of Just Tweet It and GeoFollow; I like the vector aesthetic.

GeoFollow looks fantastic. Easily the most professionally designed out of the bunch.

I would love to see a vBulletin template just like GeoFollow. :)

The majority of the resources (with the exception of one of them) could learn from such a design. It's clean and professional, yet it has a "friendly" feel to it. When compared to the rest listed above, it's a shining beacon of light.

I gave up on Twitter. I slowly stopped logging into Seesmic and haven't logged in for several weeks. :(

Today I got a couple of new Twitter followers... who were already forum members. I hope they keep logging on to the forum, if they just watch the Twitter feed this will have backfired.

My Twitter username is TheWDBoards for my main account.

I use TweetDeck which was recently acquired by Seesmic, IIRC. Twitter management is nearly a fulltime job!

I've gone from ~150 followers to over 400 in about 3 1/2 weeks, but it's been a "high maintenance" deal.

I know, it's so time consuming, and distracting as well. But I just followed you Arny :)
