    Need opinions.

Might do arms with hands holding the sign. Still gotta do the collar. It's going to be resized, but I need to do some edits before doing so.

    That's great!

But what size will it be? I can imagine that your text will become unreadable pretty quickly when you re-size it.

I'm not sure you need arms holding the plaque, but I'd like to see it to make a final decision. :)

Oh I really do like that!

I'm with Chani tho. The current text will become unreadable when you resize it.
I suggest using a standard easy-to-read font suxh as Trebuchet MS, Tahoma or Arial.

Ai, ai, ai, ai liek that. x3 looks really good. Don't think the text would be readable later on, though. I'm curoius to see how it looks wit hands, I think it's perfect like that, though.

I like the concept. I have a few suggestions though, I would refrain from maintaining straight edges and add some curves where necessary. If you intend on adding in the arms ensure you put some nice cuff links in to highlight the blackness and add in some shadowing so there's an element of perspective/depth but otherwise I like this piece a lot.

As with the others, I would also change the font to a more readable one or at the very least a generic one. I can see why you went for a curvy/fancy font so maybe you can find one that is readable and less curvy, meet you criteria half way so to speak.

    Nice work Boss.

That's it nick enough is enough we need a thumbsup icon. :D

Straight edges on...? The base or the coat itself? Yes, I plan on creating cufflinks myself as well as shadow.

It's a shame that Photoshop doesn't have mesh control so I can really distribute shadow like in Illustrator.

The font is really great when it's at that size or bigger, anything below 14 pt. weight and it looks bad. I've got some nice sans-serifs that would be proper to use on this. I might redo the placecard as well, make it more slim in some areas. It's all vector which makes for great resizing.

    Thanks everyone, especially Shelley. :D

Add some curvature on jacket where I highlighted possibly joining together like a v neck. Joining together from about 1/3 from the bottom. Hopefully I made sense there.

Not really, no. Feel free to use color with the paintbrush to illustrate what you're trying to say.

Oh right, I was thinking something completely different. All I need to do is add some point and use the convert tool and then go about doing that.

There's a lot of final touches to go on the final design. With the arms all I need to do is complete one arm and then duplicate the group, switch it around and I'm done. If I have time I might do a female version with a black dress, I'm not too sure how to make the chest, though.

Yes, placing a couple of points on each side would do the trick dragging both points upwards. And use the convert point tool on the bottom point which was the method I used in that preview.

I won't comment on the latter paragraph as I'm likely to come out with something stupid and senseless.

The problem is with the convex tool is that it sometimes lock the point where it is and just makes an 'S' style similar to a Pepsi logo.

Yeah, Drag it using the Direct Selection tool. So that your only moving one point that you selected or if you want to move multiple points and leave others hold and shift and click the points you want to move or drag then drag accordingly.

Yeah, I know that. It turns back into a straight point, not a curve.

Wait, never mind. My only problem is the top lapel and the bottom lapels are separate. :(

woULD IT HELP IF i GAVE YOU (damn caps) my psd boss? that way you can see what I did? The shirt part was a circle to start and with that circle I converted the bottom point and then dragged the two side points upwards so you get that pointed edge.

If you want to take a look at the psd give me your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

edit: I think you got it. :) latest preview is looking better.
