TinyBB 2.0 in development?

Hello!

TinyBB has been idle for some time now and it seems a waste of a good name to just leave it forever, which is why we've started coding a 2.0 of the forum.

It's a complete re-code so we'll make sure to keep the code as clean as possible (for us!). It'll include things like a real category system, an installer and a much better administration panel. When TinyBB was started in December 2010, it was intended to be a learning experience and was not planned to be released, however. Come 2011, TinyBB was released officially and advertised officially, since then we've racked up a fair few forum users and over 200 forums use TinyBB to date.

We hope to create a much more popular bulletin board system! To do this we need to expand our script and create a much, much better experience for administrators and for the end user.

First previews of 2.0 have been released, well... One of them anyway.

 

The preview looks a lot nicer than how it looks currently and does not remind me of ProBoards so much

can you elaborate more please, do you love the changes, or do you think that you love it because it's been destroyed???
