Can you give me some feedback on this. What do I need more of?, What do I need less of? What would you do with it?

    Thanks.

Have you set your dynamic name servers yet, Dan? Doesn't look like it...

Dynamic name servers? I've never heard that term. Isn't it Domain Name Service = DNS?

I've also heared it called both. . To be honest i can't understand why people use vivid bright greens, there horrible colours and to be honest aren't very business like. Your trying to create a forums that people want to view, if you have colours like vivid green and oranges and yellows your going to actually make people leave. You need smooth colours that attract members. I would for starters tone it down. The layout and advertisements are ok. After all its a work related forums so needs to look busy. But please tone it down.

Hope that helps in any way...Lol

I give a 0/10 for spelling your domain wrong :D

No seriously though here we go.

    1. The Guest welcome message that displays on the index is pretty long, and appears as a block of unformatted run on text to me. I could only concentrate on it for about 3 seconds at a time. I'd try to eliminate anything I could from it and put line breaks or paragraphs in.

    2. The sidebar navigation modules has an appearance problem. The text for viewing all albums (new) appears to be to long and runs down into the next line. I'd try to simply remove the (new) from it.

    3. While I'm not a 'tiler' so take this with a grain of salt, the green colored theme doesn't stand out to me much as being 'tilish' (yes i just made those two words up I think). The lighter blue color (The new TF?) was slightly better imo

    4. The graphic header navigation while nice, is a bit clustered at the top for people with smaller screen resolutions. I'd also add in those navigation in perhaps the traditional navbar template as well.

    5. The postbit_legacy information (post count, location, rep, etc etc) could use an extra pixel or 3 of padding around them.

Other than that not a bad job over all Dan. Now come tile my bathroom!

The green is too match our main sponsors colours that they use...we used the blue for quite while but switched to green a few months back...

I agree about the new bleeding into the other gallery link...keep meaning to get that sorted but as you know small things slip our minds...

What we are after doing is a nice designer header....for all our forums...

    First Impression: Plain and green.
    Forum Content
Quantity of Forums: I guess it’s ok, I’m really not knowledgeable in the area, but seems to be working for you; though for me it looks too ‘cluttery’.

Content: Again, I am not knowledgeable in the area, but just by looking at the amount of responses and how some of them seem detailed enough that I could understand, I can say that the content you have there is very helpful and unique, I really haven’t seen any other forum about tiling so it’s pretty rare, but for a person like me, who knows nothing about tiling yet they want to do some work around the house, the information given is really useful. I like it how you make this tiling job even accessible online, this is the first one I see a forum like this and I am impressed. I love how you have a photostrip of the work done by some of your members; some of them are just impressive and beautiful. Though I just noticed, why there isn’t a ‘last post’colum on index? Is it because it would look too cluttery?

    Forum Design
Favicon: Maybe one would look nice? Maybe the initials?

On, Off, Icons: They seem default, pretty lacking and boring.

Design: I think there is WAY too much green, specially the green in the navigation which kind of ‘collides’ with the white. Okay, now the green menu underneath the advertisements at your left hand side of the forum the green in that contrast too much with each other, basically the green in the text is somewhat TOO bright and when meshes with the background green it makes it somewhat hard to read. Tiling is basically an art and a skill, so why not make the forum represent such art and skill? Even if you don’t have the necessary skills, you can always ask for help. You have AA and other administrator forums that are filled with graphic designers.

Anywho, your logo is plain, very. It looks more like an advertisement than a logo, I suggest changing that also, making it more attractive, so-to-speak.

Overall Impression: I understand it’s a tiling forum, not really ‘feel’ the need to make it look WOW, but it wouldn’t hurt to make it look useful, which you already have that down, and attractive. The forum seems very useful, even for beginners; the look of the forum doesn’t stand up for the quality of the posts and threads made in there. The logo definitely needs to be made professionally; it really looks like an ad more than it looks like a logo. Best of luck!

I really enjoyed looking through the pictures, a lot of the work done is extremely gorgeous, it has the relaxed environment feeling.
