    From Steve Machol on The Admin Zone, in regards to vBulletin's direction and the recent negativity (and how 'nothing is changing' or improving);

So, what do you think this 'worse' change could be?

How could vBulletin/Internet Brands get worse after vBulletin 5? What else is going to hell soon?

It appears that a number of employees have been dismissed. Perhaps that's related to what Steve is saying.

[EDIT] Or what Ragtek said above /sigh

If anyone was "let go" from vBulletin, I'd consider it a blessing. ;)

But IF we've learned something from the past, then to ignore speculations and wait for official answers:greyalien:

I dont think anyone who has lost their job would consider it a blessing.
Whatever you personally might think of IB, that a very insensitive thing to say.

I don't see it as insensitive at all and I stand by what I said.
I would never work for a company like IB no matter what the pay may be. I wish anyone who may have lost their job the best but I do believe those people are better off not with IB. ;)

So how comes you and Mark managed to escape the cull. Because that Trevor.H has been staff longer than both you two, would have thought "last in - first out". Or was they all proper employees, unlike you and Mark being classed a contractors, that's why?

I'm reading some saying they got sacked. Was they sacked or laid off?

He could of had two jobs as well.
Trever blocked me on twitter for some odd reasons (I've never contacted him before today) so I have no idea what he's been doing.

I saw your reply to Trevor in that tweet, maybe why he blocked you. Working 2 jobs shouldn't matter, Mark.B works two if I'm right. Plus Trevor tweeted he's now looking for work, so that doesn't look like having out to do with things, plus you work 2 jobs anyway.

He blocked me a long time ago.. like I said though, for no reason at all.
I'm sure it was something I said.. I tend to get myself in trouble sometimes..

    *edit* I've been unblocked :)

Trying to score points off someone losing their job is just low.

Working for IB is no different to working for thousands of other companies.
You seriously need a reality check, they are just a company, not some kind of evil empire.

Oh, GTG, I think they are coming round with the tasers and beating sticks again ;)

    Joe still works in support.

I'm not trying to "score points", just stating the facts.

I know a few people working for IB and I know I would never work for that company from how I hear they treat their employees... I mean.. we all see how horribly they treat their customers

IB is the walmart of the forum world in my opinion.

Is that what you call it? ;)

BTW I am hearing there is more fallout to come... I don't however know what that means.
