We've added the facebook Like button to the first post on every page, test it out, see how it works.

    *Edit*

    (update)
We're now just using the default code from facebook, vbulletin 4 also has this setup in the code already.

It's nice but breaks the layout.

    Scrrenshot?
I was thinking about moving it up to the right of the date, with a tweetme button as well

Pretty cool Brandon. Looks like Facebook is becoming the default gatekeeper to all our information. Is there a dislike button for that? :D

not that I know of :)
it is interesting how it can pass the info over like that without something like the facebook connect window popping up.

Does it work if you're not logged into FB? I'm thinking it's the cookie FB sets when logging in the script probably has access to it.

I just tested it by logging out of facebook and doing a hard refresh on this page. You get the white fb icon, click it a popup fb connect comes up asking you to login, once you login you can see the blue icons.
I know it was just enabled this last week, I like it so far but look forward to seeing how it works.

Oh, the part I really like is that it "should" show on the users profile page with a link back to this post saying that they like it.

You'll soon see this facebook button on a lot of the websites you visit.

I've moved the code around, shouldn't break the design anymore.
I also added a retweet button, I think I want to move both these up by the post date though.

ps.. if your on twitter, please click the retweet link and update your status with the info that is provided so we can test this RT button out.
It's been tweeted a few times already but it's still showing 0 next to the retweet button.

    thx

    strange
I think I'll remove and replace it with the tweetme button, this one is still showing 0 even though I know we've had 6 or 7 retweets just today, not to mentioned one from when I first make the thread.

I just added it today, but we've had a few RT and it's still showing 0
I'll replace it with the tweetme one I used on vbsetup.

I've replaced the retweet button with the tweetme version and it looks like it's working now.
    Can everyone see it?
I've also added a stumbleupon counter and digg button as well, all inside a little table :)

can everyone see the counters in the first post?

I can see everything fine in both firefox and chrome. The tweetme button only works in FF though.

I like how it looks a lot more now too instead of the normal vbseo buttons :)
