Have you ever changed the name of your forum/website? Or at least considered doing it?

I would try to avoid this at all costs, because depending on how long you've been around, it will be hard to replace your already-existing 'brand'.

Yes, our teen forums was ultimate teen forums from sept 15th 08 to February the 2nd I think. The rebranding and everything else was well worth the domain change/name change.

I have done the same with my webmaster forum, and our poetry forum but only within a day of it being up so rebranding wasnt too hard ;)

I once considered it, when I lost my domain due to an administrative fault and it was parked by an advertising company. But went on with a .net and same name

I've considered it, since some of my older sites were started before everyone got worried about search engine optimization and now I look for domain names that include my keywords.

Rush Hour Madness will have a new name this week. Hopefully by tomorrow.
Ordinarily this is not something that I would do or even advise, but circumstances are such that I feel it is necessary. We've been open just less than 2 months, so the damage, if any, should be minimal.

I've considered it especially after some people ran off to other websites trying to discredit us but decided against it
