I think you should set the feature that a post icon should be shown if not selected. I find it gives the forum a little colour depth and page uniformity looks neater. Just a suggestion.

The option is in the admincp .. vbulletin options >> Thread Display options (show thread) Show Default Post Icon and fill the path of the default icon you want to show which would be this icon >> .

 

On some of my forums I have this, some I don't. I don't mind either way, so it really comes down to what the community wants.

I've always thought it looks better with an icon in place as Shelley suggests. Mine's always been like that.

 

I like there being a default icon as well.

Thanks nick, and it looks a little more organized now. If you want the pencil re-coloured on icon1.png to another colour let us know if you prefer another colour than the green pencil icon.

 

If you think another color (such as blue) would look better, than use your judgment. I'm not that good with decisions that relate to design.

 

I'm actually not a fan of this. Perhaps if these icons were a little smaller it wouldn't stand out so much. And also if our forum new/read icons matched a little better (I don't like those). And blue would be a nice change. But I do think they kind of dominate the index after this change.
