Seperate Advertising & Reviews

I think its great AA provides a section for users to get reviews and advertise their sites. But Its kind of a small train wreck in that forum sifting thru reviews and what are advertisements. (I know there are prefixes)

Is it possible to either add an advertisement prefix, or possibly split the two up all together.

I don't think there is enough demand there for a seperate forum for either category, so I'd simply like to see an additional prefix added.

I agree. I was actually a little bit confused early on.

 

Before entering this topic, I already disagreed with separate forums. However, I think the advert prefix idea is a splendid one.

 

I second the prefix idea, should make things a bit easier, but not worth separate forums.

 

New "showcase" prefix added. I've also changed the setting so that all new threads require a prefix (since all threads should either be Showcases or Reviews).

The new prefix is light thistle in color. I don't believe it should stand out too much, so it's kind-of dull. Let me know what your thoughts are on my color choice.

You should do the template modification required so that they can search by prefix (Basically moving the forumdisplay search to above threads).

I use it on a gaming site, and members have found it useful for limiting whats shown.
