    http://r00tsecuity.org is looking to expand our dedicated team so that we may continue to grow and expand this growing community into something big and amazing.

    Due to the size of r00tsecurity and our growth rate, we are in need of a dedicated Community Manager who can manage and maintain our growing community so that other team members may focus on development behind the scenes with the kitties!

    Job Details:
    • JOBS
    • Move topics to correct areas and delete spam topics/posts in order to keep the forums clean.
    • Encourage community development and growth.
    • Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties.
    • Respond to comments, when appropriate, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience.
    • Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications
    • Create and maintain content, including writing Facebook Status Updates.
    • Reach out and form partnerships with other communities and networks.
    • Manage a growing community and be able to make logical decisions for the community, hire staff, and manage a team.
      REQUIREMENTS
    • Be mature! We won't take kids or skids.
    • Very high attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to produce community management guidelines and documents that reflects the holistic understanding and implementation of the role of social media and its effects.
    • Able to spend several hours on the forums watching for spam and working to better grow and improve the community with new ideas.
    • You should also work well within the community, meaning that most of the members know and respect you.
    • Critical thinking skills. Able to evaluate problems and situations that come up and figure out the best solution to solve them.
    • Past experience as a community administrator.
    • Good English and speaking skills and able to communicate and write out dedicated posts and guidelines.
      BIG PLUSES
    • Add kitten jokes randomly and use kitten images as a way to display achievements and news.
    • Being an active member in the community[forums and IRC] by helping members and providing unique content to the forums.
    • Knowledge in the field of security, programing, or another tech field is a major plus!
    • Previous experience with being an administrator or community manager on another forum is also a big plus.
