Resources for managing an enterprise website

I'm just inherited an enterprise website. If anyone can provide me some resources on managing the whole thing including securities, firewalls, caching, speed, performance, key indicators, and anything that relates to managing and administering an enterprise website. Perhaps some people to follow in Twitter or websites to check out, it will be very helpful.

For security, make sure you have an SSL certificate. You can get them from name.com as well as other domain providers with various features depending on which you go for. If the site already has an SSL certificate, make sure both that and the domain are put into your name. With SSL certificates, you'll also have to provide the supplier proof of ID usually too (a utility bill and a photo ID of some sort).
