Anyone have any recommendations for a good host to use? It must be fairly cheap on a per month/year basis, but they don't need a huge amount of server resources to use either. I would use my current host, but trouble with signing up again and things mean I've decided to look elsewhere for this.
Just a quick search brought this up, free hosting for non-profits http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Non-profit_Discount Here are a few more but it looks like dreamhost is the preferred one listed here as well. http://forums.techsoup.org/cs/community/f/24/t/30974.aspx and as always, there is good https://www.google.com/search?q=free+hosting+non-profit
I've run a number of small sites on https://www.tsohost.com/ over the past 10 years . They are very cheap and I only recall one major outage during that time. They are also extraordinarily helpful and tickets get answered with minutes regardless of the time of day (or night) they are raised.
I've used Bigscoots.com Prices are certainly fair and i love the support i get. Personable and relatively fast service and good uptime for me. I have also used them for VPS as well(I am now with Wiredtree just for more services) but would certainly use them again. http://www.bigscoots.com/hosting_shared
