My family is planning a get together for easter - which also falls on my wifes birthday this year.

We are going to be cooking a brisket, sausage, boudain, beans,,,, and I dont know what else.

Plus, the kids are coming over.

Get this, Easter morning my family actually avoids Church. Especially since our church stopped doing sunrise service on the beach (incredibily awesome experience). We don't want to be crowded by the folks who only show up Easter and/or Christmas. So we go to the movies in the morning and then take it easy in the afternoon. We're trying to decide whether to see Alice in Wonderland or How to Tame Your Dragon.

Oh I want to see that, but I've got to find something more family friendly for Sunday.

This year we had a big breakfast of blessed food including eggs, babka, sausage, ham, streuselkuchen, and poppyseed kifle. For dinner we barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs; the weather was perfect for eating outside!

The teenager that hid the eggs forgot where they put them.

Not to worry, eventually the dog found them. : )

It was good to see the family.
