phpBB "Olympus" 3.0.10 Released

What are your thoughts on this? Has anyone used it? I am going to download this to see how it's different.

 

It's really only a bug fix release, nothing new in it.

 

I have used it.

I do not like the software.

The ACP is bloated and confusing.Hopefully they have taken that legitimate criticism to heart for their 4.0 version.

Adding a plug in can be a lot of work.SMF,myBB,FUD forum and many others are so much better on plug ins installation.

I have convinced two forum owners to convert from phpBB3 and they are glad they heeded the advice.They were not happy with it.Thus my suggestion for converting to another forum software.

 

The ACP is actually very simple and if you have any concerns you can post them at Area51

There are many who will vehemently dispute what you say about the ACP.I suggest that you tread carefully.

MarshallRusty knows about the complaints.

Imagine a software that does NOT allow an administrator to be an administrator.Until they are GLOBAL moderators as well.
