Over the course of a few years I have accumulated over 200 passwords for various sites.
Managing them has been left to a text file sitting vulnerable on my desktop called "passwords".

I rotate passwords out every couple of months, some more than others.
Gmail & Paypal I changed maybe once a month
    Banking info often as well.
Forums like A-T i would swap out bi-monthly.
I never reuse the same password, ever, on any site.
When I create custom passwords I always try and label the pass with the month in the beginning, an example being:
    0.C.t-20-i2.32evsfd3rrgfds-23
that way when i look at it, i know it was created Oct 2012

So I was talking to a friend about password management and I decided to take the plunge on purchasing Kaspersky Password Manager.

So far the worst part is re-entering all my passwords. The good part is you can encrypt memos/notes.
It will auto fill if you would like it to on sites, Chrome for that. Havent messed with he feature much though.
It will save to clipboard a password and flush it after a few seconds.
You can export your passes to an encrypted file
    It is passwords protected.

So, if your machine was ever stolen you would be a bit more secure than say having a text file called passwords on your desktop.

This is something to consider and its cheap :)

I am a fan of this. I use 1Password to do all of this.
