Some of us don't have the time or money to be able to do everything we want with our community. This could be something as simple as promoting in a certain place, or something as big as hiring a coder to do some custom work. If you were granted one wish you have envisioned for your forum, what would it be?
If I could wish one thing that can improve my forum then it would be that I could to webdesign so I do not need to pay other to do that.
Only one wish? Grr, I have too many Well, I'd like users to be able to reorder the forums on the index page in a way that makes sense to them. I'd like to be able to mark individual threads as read. I have several ideas I don't want to reveal yet that my coding skills aren't up to snuff for. Plus I really should try this advertising thing everyone's talking about...
Well... This is one reason I'd love to start a forum called "Wherewishescometrue..." This way, I can grant wishes to those who don't have the money or time. This would include domains, hosting, custom skins, money in general, etc. This would be a wish, as it'd never come true. I really would not have the money to do everything I'd need to do PLUS dish out money to those in need of it.
There are already "wish" sites like that, though I don't think any focus on web site wishes If you got the support of makers of commercial software packages, that might become a very popular site.
I wish I could have exactly the design I imagine in my head. The perfect design that will make it a pleasure to work on the forum. This design, however, does not exist. That's why I wish.

This for sure. I wish I could own part of a data center and run all my forums on blazing fast, top end servers.
