OKJT Offically Open For Business

Howdy Folks,

I've just completed importing all threads, posts, and users from the Karaoke lounge at ODJT. If you posted in the Karaoke Lounge at ODJT and didn't request your account not be copied over you may login with the same user name and password you used at ODJT.

I still have lots of work to do. Getting the posts and user accounts moved over was my main goal. In the coming days we will have a nicer layout installed along with some sort of logo - it's Labor Day and my go-to graphics folks are busy.

Everything that was in the Joker's Karaoke Lounge at ODJT is in the Host's Only forum here. It's only open to people with 10 or more posts as it's a private forum. I did not copy over attachments or private message. No sense in duplicating the data.

The first order of business is adding a nicer style. That will be done this week. In the coming days I will be tweaking settings, adding emoticons, and all that fun stuff. Please bear with me as I work to make this place a nice hangout for you guys. Feel free to point out anything you don't think is working correctly.

I like the looks of this skin...very cool and easy to change color scheme. Nice!

OOPS. Despite having an Avatar, it doesn't show up on the posts. What's up?

 

Some stuff gets lost in the shuffle on an install/merge....your two accounts aren't linked, so just drop into your UserCp here and update it.

Edit: I did note that one is showing up in my UserCp, but not my posts. And, it looks like Dan has to change the permissions allowing Users to specify one. He'll get around to it soon.

 

Good info Randy. Also Joe perhaps you can make this one work allowing a few pics finally. LOL.

 

Oops over sight on my part. Yours is showing up now. Not sure why Randy isn't yet.

 

I had removed mine during my testing of the UserCp....I'm good now.

You're not allowing .gif files?

....nope. Again, the butten depresses, bt nothing happens. Gotta be from my end if it's both forums, but I can't figure it out. I did disable the pop-up blocker in case, but no effect. DAM!

 

Joe I wish I could help you. It boggled my mind on ODJT. Do you have Javascript disabled?

 

Wouldn't even know where to look for the answer to that. I know I didn't do it on purpose, so if it's a default setting, it's still on.

 

Joe are you resizing the pics so they will load?

 

Would you try a default install of another browser like Firefox or Opera?

I have it set so the board will automatically resize images that are over the specified size (1024x768).

 

Joe, go to www.tinypic.com and you can upload the pic there off of your computer and then copy the code onto the forum

 

That I am, but if I weren't, I'd get some sort of error message.

To repeat, the switch depresses but nothing happens- like the power switch on a flashlight with dead batteries. No errors, no messages, just nothing.
