Nginx questions

If your server is a managed server, are you able to tell your host that you want them to install nginx and have it configured to work with php and they will do it for you? I was just wondering this with it not being a standard web server.

Is it possible to run WHM/Cpanel on nginx or does the web server software not matter and only the OS.

And lastly, can you run apache alongside nginx or does installing nginx mean you must remove apache?

Apologies if my questions dont fully make sense.

I'm not sure if that would answer any of your questions, but it may help.

 

I know you can the two (Apache and nginx) side by side, but they need to be on different ports....

I also know nginx blows Apache out of the water....
