Logout Location

On your forums where do you have your log out link? On our teen forums we used to have the log out link at the bottom right of the forums and that was where it had been for over a year. Recently a few new members signed up and told us they couldnt find it so we placed it with a nice sized image with log out wrote on it and still the complaints went on and now we have relocated to right at the top of the site so hopefully it is more visible now for them.

One thing I personally dont like on forums is log out on the navigation, I have always seen log out buttons as something to keep out of the way as logging out is never important to myself, not usually at least. I understand having it in the nav means better usability and accessibility.

So, where is yours located on your forums?

 

ours is on the top, next to the links to user control panel, arcade, member list...stuff like that

 

I used to keep mine all the way at the bottom
