Which redirect?

 

When I click forums it says redirecting in x seconds and then redirects to the forums.

 

Yeah, i actually dont know how to put it as a direct link in wordpress..

 

Doesnt WP allow normal HTML links?

 

From what I can see with my phone, I can say it would have been nice is you would have customized the egamer theme. It looks like no effort was made to make your own graphics and basically make that theme your own, but this comes from a person who used that same theme, I made it my own though, and I know what can be done with this excellent theme from elegantwpthemes.

 

I thought it was custom skin Still it is a nice theme at that, adding your own twist shouldnt be too hard.

 

I have no graphical skills what so ever.


I was thinking of like maybe once a month change the background to an image of the latest game or something..

 

Elegantwpthemes have some of the most attractive wp skins I have seen.

Not bad though its a default commercial template it fits your site nicely. Make some customizations to it and I think you'll be on your way with it.

Your forum skin however, I can't say the same for. When I see it, it doesn't say "This is a gaming forum" The elegantWP theme you have should be able to get ported over fairly easy to vBulletin actually, I've done a few of these conversions myself, and it usually is only 3-5 hours of work if that.

I'd hide the "Donation Goal" box from guests. There isn't anything that screams amateur/kiddie forum louder than a site that accepts donations to run. However I understand the need to pay for web serving etc, so I'd limit that so only members can see it.

You've got a ton of forums like every other gaming forum that gets reviewed. Does each and every little aspect of gaming need its on individual forum? I don't think they do, and you'll be doing your visitors a favor by giving them less forums to browse through to find their content.

Once you get your forum theme fixed around, I suggest some custom icons as well.
