As a member of other people's forums you sometimes come to admire or respect a community enough that you wish you were the owner. If you could take over someone else's forum completely (I'm not talking as a mod or co-admin), which would it be? Why that forum?

I'd have to say I've thought about this, but I can make a better community, so I'd rather not be "jealous".

It would be the forum of a guy who banned me. I would then ban him and post all kinds of trash about him and his stupid forum. His forum is puny anyway - beating chest - it has a fraction the number of my post, members and threads. I posted 1 thing that was out of line and he banned me.

I will not post the name of the forum, because it does not deserve the advertising.

It doesn't have to be an a jealous or hostile way, FMB... for example, I would love to have Arny's forum. He's got a great domain name, friendly members... think of how much fun you could have coming up with creative ways to keep them occupied.

I would so take the Offtopic.com forum

Would not ruin it though. I would love it like a puppy.

Offtopic.com -- makes a lot of money even though the owner denies it -- he's completely sold out his community (not in making money, which I support, because he put a lot of pocket money into it over the years) -- but for never being around, entrusting a group of morons to run the place, yet being the only admin

they're still running vB 3.6.7 because he doesn't do anything but revenue based stuff now
