What's the worst possible way any current tv show could end?

    What's the best way?

How do you think the show's you're currently watching are going to end?

It only depends on scriptwriter and his/her imagination

The problem these days is that the company wants results in the first episode, series are rushed and if not grab millions of people the show get canceled. Companies are the cancer of many TV series at the moment and in the past look at Marvel's Agents of Shield its in the danger zone to be canceled. In the past StarGate Universe look how they ended that show because of that people get tiered watching new shows the end it without any notice or finishing the current story line.

Look how seasons are at the moment before 2007/2008 a season was 22 or 24 episodes now a season is less then 14. Writers need to cramp everything in 12 to 14 shows so you do not have good plot development or any background on the characters in the show.

The shows i follow at the moment i think three will be canceled namely "Marvel's Agents of Shield", "Intelligence" and "Witches of East End" another "Warehouse 13" is in it final season because the company does not want to continue but ordered a 5th season to tie up the lose ends.

Watching a show for years, only to find out that it was all a dream, is a terrible way to end a show.

The worst kind of ending is one where there is no ending. The best kind of ending is an ending you will always remember i.e. such as Blakes 7, a budget, 70/80's sci-fi series where they killed off the entire cast in the last episode. There was no coming back from that.

couple of years ago there was a show where the main guy kept switching between similar realities.

the first season finale had a cliffhanger ending. they thought they would continue it the next season. but they were cancelled.

But ZappaDJP is right Blake's Seven was one of the early shows that killed one of the leads in the show.

Star Trek Enterprise had a weird ending but i blame the shows failing on the acting Captain Archer should have been more but i did not fulfill that at all.

StarGate Universe ended with cliff hanger the show had potential but here i blame the producers that wanted to much in one go and the story development was slow and long.
