How to ID Crawlers using vB?

Back when I ran PHPbb3 I saw crawlers all the time. Now that I've upgraded to vB I don't see anything in the member section that mentions crawler. Is this normal?

 

vB Tweak can help you out, also it requires the Who's Online option,
"Show Spiders Browsing Forums" setting to be on.

 

By default, there is no record of them anywhere. However, you can use this updated spiders_vbulletin.xml file to see them in Who's Online: vBulletin Spiders Directory (for updated spiders_vbulletin.xml files) - vBulletin Community Forum

 

oh, so they crawl around but it just doesn't show if on vB?

 

Right. Unless you use the replacement file that I linked to.
