How long do you usually think it'll take someone to reply to a topic that you made? A few minutes? A few hours? Maybe 24 hours? Or does it all depend on what community you're posting on and how active it is?

Definitely depends on the community. If it's inactive enough, about 24 hours. If it's super active, a few minutes. Usually inbetween.

Absolutely depends. I expect it within the day for any active forums. For more inactive ones, I don't mind a few days, but I hate when they simply go untouched entirely. At the very least, the admin should occasionally look through unanswered posts and try to do something with them.

For sports forums, it's usually before you can refresh the page. Post-whores, all. :)

I'm surprised anyone posted in this thread! LOL

Our threads don't sit long without anyone posting a reply either.
