I'm a Midwesterner too (northeast IL).

This is one of two Forums that I usually visit several times
a day. I was getting bored with the other one. This one
is much more fun and interesting. It also has a lot of features
I like that the other ones do not have. Also, I am a little on
the quiet side :blush: , even when I cannot be seen.
I am usually a lurker, rarely participating. but this site is so
great that I had to break the shell!! And there you have it,
that is why I finally decided to take the plunge. :beer:

 

Wow, you sound reminiscent of Bizkit Babe, in your lurking ways! But you probably know what I'm taking about, as you've likely been right there with the rest of us through the past year.

It's so interesting to see a perspective of an unbiased, non-participating voice in the midst of a tightly knit community.
