    We'd like to hear your opinion on the two different background options we have for the information in the postbit. The first one is the flat version we have now, and the second is the 3D version that we are considering using instead.

    Note: Ignore the difference in layout you see in the screenshots. We are looking solely at the rectangles around the information in the postbit (post count, join date, etc.).

    Yes, it does have a certain "eye popping" quality to it. ;)

    Savage, your witty third option for staff votes isn't needed, as there is a link to "View Poll Results" without having to vote. :giggle:

    I was wondering as to why he added that option. :spin:

    I am actually fully aware of that (seriously :p), but I thought it was a hassle because clicking that link does not show you the results like it does after you vote. So I tried something new. :D

    It brought me to a new page with only the results and nothing else when I did it.

    Also, Savage: I noticed that the rectangles containing each bit of information (on the 3D version) have white backgrounds instead of the tinge of blue that the flat version has.

    The flat version is also white:
    Code:
    .postdetail div.smallfont div {
    background: #fff;
    margin: 2px 1px;
    border:1px solid #d6e7ea;
    padding: 3px;
    font: 8pt verdana, tahoma, verdana, sans-serif;
    }

    Oh, now I see that. It was just a bit more prominent on the 3D version and I didn't seem used to it. :p

    The 3D ranks are really nice. As others have said, it has an "eye popping" quality. awww.adminaddict.net_data_MetaMirrorCache_d24b431bba67da2cac16f2da8acb9704.jpg
