Hello there,

I'm an ICT educated person that has as hobby webhosting/programming. Maybe a common combination. I dedicate most of my time by administrating whatever I can administrate in both my work and free time. Meh maybe I'm a little bit addicted.

I used to manage phpbb forums(2 and 3), IPB(2 series). I have by myself only hosted SMF and Vbulletin so I guess I've enough experience with the most kinds of Forum Software. My personal prefference goes to Vbulletin for administration/security. To SMF whenever I wish to plug amator admins into it and phpbb3 whenever I host a forum that I wish to be highly costumiseable for someone else or so. My own projects uses both Vbulletin and SMF due to security reasons and the requirements of the feactures I require for the project.

My personal overal prefference goes to Vbulletin since it is easy to use for Members/Moderators however the administration options are endless(and is harder).

I've climbed in 4 boards from a member to a staff member and two of them includes the administration tasks. These for all larger community's. However this was before hosted my own boards.

Besides of Forum Software I have used e107 as my CMS however I switched to my self programmed one. It isn't done yet and I guess it wouldn't be to hard to hack it since I've not secured the most things yet.

Besides of that I administrate an IRC Server in my free time since I wish to give my users some kind of live chat.
