Some while ago vBulletin was caught gaming the system, submitting employee/contractor/alpha/beta tester written reviews to http://www.trustpilot.com/ The majority of those reviews were removed as they were against the terms and conditions imposed by Trustpilot.

It now appears vBulletin are attempting to have a number or negative, customer written reviews removed: http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.vbulletin.com

    I laughed, I really did.

Because of the way in which the reviews have been reported. For example how would anyone but vBulletin know that a review was written by an author who had not purchased a vBulletin product in the last 24 months. (Reviews have to be submitted within 24 months of purchase.)

Owell, you can't bitch about vB breaking TrustPilots TOS, and then turn around and do the same thing yourself.

Not that it matters, or anyone actually uses that site before making a purchase, but whatever.

    Have you seen this?

Maybe you could argue that for vBulletin, especially if you've used the support forums in the last 24 months.
