Well, I'm back, and I got some news! If you've been following along, or seen it before, you probably knew that I was running SMF for my forum. Well, things took a slight turn and now I'm running vB. Who would've thought, right? I do hope it's for the better side of things, though. ;)

Slight intro: Over the course of the last few months, we've been working in the basement (coffee and no sleep), to get the site transferred to vBulletin software. During this "phase change", we had a "major" down turn. The previous server owner dropped the server, which resulted in a loss of the whole site, except a back-up file. At that point, the tech admin, just ported over the basic stuff like forums, posts, users, etc. I didn't realize what had happened until three days later. It was devastating, and at that point, I really wanted to drop things, but I contacted the tech and told him what had happened. After going through the initial shock, little by little, everything was rebuilt again. It was a slow process, and I have to warn you in advance; it was not very fun.:uhh:

    Now about the forum (specific):

This site was built for anglers from all over the world to come together and have a good time by sharing their experiences, photos, tips, help, etc, with other like minded folks. The idea is to keep things family-friendly, drama-free, and allow audiences of all sorts to participate in this amazing sport. There's lots to talk about, and the forum is aimed at both freshwater and saltwater anglers, beginners and pros alike.

Technical aspect: There's still a lot to work on. Lots of ideas being put down, thought of, discussed. At this point, the possibilities are endless, and the course of the site can go just about anywhere. We'll see what the future brings us.

To the AA community: First off, I'm a fan of honest reviews. As long as you have some explanation for what you say, then your opinions do count.

Using the details below, you can login and take a snoop around.
