You guys should check out eblah, i used it once and it's pretty good, it's written in perl.

Wow that seems like a old and still going strong board. I gotta give them a try =].

 

I won't make a live board out of it, but it'd be fun to do as a test run. Never even heard of this software.

Edit: I just did a test run, and I'm not sure if I like it. Stepped in the ACP and my head was spinning from all the odds and ends you could do in there. Not sure this is something I'd like to work with as a live forum.

 

It's pretty cool, i don't know when a new version is coming though.

 

I didn't download it though, I just played around with the demo version and used the username and password they provided. I admit, I like the layout of the thing, and I should've made a full-fledged forum to really try it out, but I don't know if it's something I'd like to do as a live board, though.
