Domain & Namsevers Plus Favicon

Well I Dont Know How To Add A Favicon, I Want To Know How Atleast.

And To Set My Domain Nameservers To My Forum? Do I Change My Host
Domain Servers Or My Domain Registration Name Servers. I Dont Know What
To Do Can Anyone Help Me Out?

Add Favicon To Website. I Dont Know This Stuff.

 

Your web host should have told you in your "account set up" email what the dynamic name servers are for your site. Go to your domain name registrar, find the options for that domain name, and change the dynamic name servers to whatever is listed in the email.

To add your favicon, simply upload it to the root directory on your web hosting account.

I like this way a little better, to add a favicon anyways...

Upload a transparent PNG image to your image folder on which ever theme you selected 16x16.

Then go to your header template on your selected theme and add
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://somesite.com/YOURTHEME/images/favicon.png" type="image/png" />



DON'T make it larger than 16x16

Anyways, you don't need your hosting information for that. You can replace
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://somesite.com/YOURTHEME/images/favicon.png" type="image/png" />

that with for example

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff24/sexy_goldy_rican/adminstar.png" type="image/png" />

You can upload on any image host

 

Okay Now I Changed My Name Servers....But It Wont Show The Whole URL
