Difficulty installing modifications

Does anyone else find it hard to install mods on phpBB? I've noticed that if you are not careful, you may very well end up breaking your board.

 

As long as you follow the instructions you should be fine, most MOD's work with Automod as well now which may help you out.

 

The problem with phpbb mods is that they force you to play in the source code and that's just not a good way to make changes. It would be much better if they created a mods ability separate from the core code, like a functions file.
