Can your community run without you actively posting?

    Well my forum is running without active posting.
    Its PR1 and Alexa rank 378,379.
    Site started in 2009.

    I'm sorry, but I do not see how PR & Alexa ranks comes into if the forum is running without active posting or not, care to explain more :confused:

    I think it's always good for the admin to stop by and post on the forums.
    My other forum (General Forums) doesn't need much attention from me, we get a few hundred post a week even if I don't visit. This site on the other hand still seems a bit small and there are several things I still want to do with it, so I've tried to stay as active as possible.

    Well Me and some members of my forum gets 20 threads at least in a week .
    My alexa rank gets good wen I customized and did some seo .
    I was also shocked to see PR and Alexa

    Why are you worried about alexa rank? Do a lot of your members use the Alexa toolbar? What's your PR? What matters is how well you're doing in search and the daily activity.
