Can Early Exposure Make or Break Content?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking about the advantage of jumping on a topic before it trends. Apparently, early posts can sometimes get more traction simply because they’re first.

This is what the concept of seed merit refers to, the initial push an early post receives that others may not get. I’m curious: does this really create a meaningful edge or is it more luck than strategy?

Have people successfully used seed merit to consistently grow an audience or does it mostly fade once others catch up?

Any experiences or insights would be amazing.
