Do you run a CafePress or similar shop, selling products with your logo and brand name? If so, how has it worked out for you?

Personally, I was never too fond of the idea because the items end up being so expensive for the customer in order for me to make any sort of profit. But a little while back I designed a nice image based off of one of my member's submitted images and I set up the shop. I set my retail value as low as possible but still earning me a dollar or two per item (some items only earn me values in cents).

Long story short, more items have been bought that I would have ever expected. I've sold an astonishing 7 items worth over $90 in retail value, coming to a total of $11.60 in commission. It's obviously not much, but hey - it's an extra few bucks that can go towards PPC advertising or something and I've got walking advertisements out there now... and I don't have to do a darn thing except sit back and watch. :D

Here's the shop if you're interested in checking it out: The Linnie Shop - I Love Linnies : I Love Linnies Lineolated Parakeets Shop

I had some custom stuff made up by a local person and I mail stuff out myself. I make just enough profit to pay so I can give part of it away to certain people for various reasons.

I have never done this myself, but it looks like you have a very wide selection there, Nick. Congratulations on your sales thus far. Maybe people will want some AA shirts eventually. :p

I've sold several items through CafePress, but none since they made changes to the search function in their "marketplace". I think all my nice designs have been squeezed out :(
